No one is a terrible Christian and no one is a good Christian. We all need grace and mercy, and this is why we have Jesus as our Savior. I used to struggle with this thought about being a terrible Christian but it’s not true and I got over this thought when I realized that there is no terrible Christian or good Christian. Our relationship with Jesus Christ is what is important . As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; Romans 3:10

@Josie :) It triggered a lot of intrusive thoughts. That’s been happening a lot lately whenever I read about Jesus Christ. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

@sillybilly OCD is not us. I think this can be real hard to remember because I forget about this too. OCD can make us feel that there is something wrong with us all the time. I just have to remind myself that my beliefs and who I am is separate from OCD. Someone told me before “ OCD is like another person, it’s not you”.

@sillybilly I relate. It was so hard to push through my OCD of being a “bad” Christian. I’m still working on it. It’s so hard :( I’m sorry you’re going through this. Are you trying ERP?
