So I have been on ssri lexapro for almost 2 weeks it seems every time I take it I get a little foggy and today I haven’t taken one and I feel pretty good today I’m not sure if I should take it or just lay off

How long did it take for you to start feeling better? What other side effects did you have?

@Dom267 Thanks. I'm not on anything yet because I've been so scared of all the side effects. How much worse my anxiety and ocd could get scares me. I've talked with a few people on here to see their side effects as well and it seems most people had the same side effects as you stated.

@Dom267 Well today has been pretty decent I just have been taking 5mg not much , they are prescribed to me in 10ng but I’ve been breaking them in half to see how my body reacts but all and all today has been wonderful

@Dom267 Yes you have helped I appreciate you taking your time to help me. That's a great sign. I think I wouldn't be as scared but I have 2 kids who I am home with all day long.

It’s usually best not to stop medication without talking to your doctor first. Some medications take time to work, and SSRIs are one of those medicines. You can call their office and say you have a concern about your medication and ask your doctor about it. It’s also possible a different medication would work better and have less side effects. Different people respond different to different medications.
