How long did it take for you to start feeling better? What other side effects did you have?

@Dom267 Thanks. I'm not on anything yet because I've been so scared of all the side effects. How much worse my anxiety and ocd could get scares me. I've talked with a few people on here to see their side effects as well and it seems most people had the same side effects as you stated.

@Dom267 Well today has been pretty decent I just have been taking 5mg not much , they are prescribed to me in 10ng but I’ve been breaking them in half to see how my body reacts but all and all today has been wonderful

@Dom267 Yes you have helped I appreciate you taking your time to help me. That's a great sign. I think I wouldn't be as scared but I have 2 kids who I am home with all day long.

It’s usually best not to stop medication without talking to your doctor first. Some medications take time to work, and SSRIs are one of those medicines. You can call their office and say you have a concern about your medication and ask your doctor about it. It’s also possible a different medication would work better and have less side effects. Different people respond different to different medications.

lexapro.
day 2 , I’ve been taking it at night. the nausea is unreaaaallll. I also woke up in panic but since I got off Zoloft I’ve kinda been doing that. Hope it gets better 🥹

derealization as a side effect w/lexapro?
Anyone get this in the beginning and it go away? I posted yesterday how I was feeling pretty good. But realistically it’s only 2 weeks into 5mg so it’s early on and I’ll probably need to move up to 10mg. I’m feeling out of it today like the anxiety isn’t there but it’s like derealization/a calm anxiety if that makes sense lol. Like I just don’t feel real:/

Who likes lexapro? I’m paranoid with what I read
Does it actually work for you? And do you not feel like a zombie? Maybe it’s just my ocd but I’m scared I made a mistake by not going back to my old med but my psych claims no one gets side effects from it but I kind of feel like a zombie on it even tho it’s early in and I’m hoping it goes away cuz I read it never did fir some ppl :( anyone not get this from lexapro?
