I’d say this sounds a lot like harm ocd. It’s ok, lots of people have these intrusive thoughts. Treat them how you treat your other ocd thoughts, aknowledge they are there, accept the anxiety and uncertainty, and try not to over analyze them. ❤️

Hi, thank you so much for you replies and kind help. All you've said has really helped me to calm down. But there are a few things that I just can't understand: why did my thoughts not feel intrusive?! If I'm genuinely a nice person, why did I feel in those respective moments that I did WANT to harm those really innocent and nice people?! I feel so ashamed... I'm trying to move on but these questions are stuck with me, and I can't seem to find any answer for them. I'm seeing my boyfriend tomorrow but I don't know how I can look him in the eyes knowing that I'm capable of thinking and feeling this type of monstrosity. Anyway... I'm sorry. I'll stop. But once again, thank you so, so much for your support. You are amazing!

No problem! I’m really happy to be able to help. But yeah intrusive thoughts don’t always come as thoughts, sometimes they come as urges or impulses, and for some people these can feel very real.

I'm sorry, I was meant to put Harm OCD, not POCD. I apologise for any confusion!
