When trying to determine whether something is OCD, we need to look at the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to see if they fit the OCD cycle. Do you know what the OCD cycle is?

@MaksFromRussia Ok, I'll explain :). Here's a picture to help you visualize it as well https://images.app.goo.gl/c8SSCKhJLCuHWBTv5 First, something triggers the cycle to start. This trigger can be external (something in the environment) or internal, like a memory or sensation. Then we experience an unwanted thought. This is the obsession. When we misinterpret the thought as meaningful, that leads to distress. The unpleasant emotions can include fear, anxiety, disgust, guilt, dread, embarrassment, "not just right" feeling, etc. We mistakenly believe that we cannot tolerate the distress, so we do compulsions to try to escape it. A compulsion is any physical or mental action (including rumination) that we use to temporarily relieve the distress from the obsession. When we do compulsions, we get temporary relief. However, doing comoulsions teaches our brains that the thoughts are dangerous and that we can't handle distress. This leads to more upsetting thoughts and more compulsions over time
