In so sorry love❤ if you want to be there for your son though you're going to have to push through the terrifying thoughts. In so sorry yiure going through this, but compulsions won't help. Remember- his dad will be around. Family will be around. And most importantly, you have harm ocd. So do you need to worry that you'll act on it?

Yes, I wanna go and see my son. Yesterday I was speaking to my son on video chat and ocd was throwing thoughts at me, cause my son loves to play 20 questions and I will admit it does get annoying sometimes. But I did regroup and changed my perspective to gratitude and it helped. I enjoyed his 20 questions session.

Its terrible terrible terrible, bit you KNOW that on the 8th, the terror will pass and be replaced by a new thing to fear. The nore you defy it the stronger you will be for your son.

Imma only be in town to see my son for about 48hrs and have to fly back so I can finish packing my stuff. Im planning to move back to my home state, I have a better support system there and my son is also there. I won't be able to have him full time while I recover but I will be seeing him.as much as possible.

First of all I'm so sorry.... panic attacks are very scary. Just know that you got through it and you are strong enough to do that again. For the panic attacks, try getting inositol powder you can order it on amazon and or vitamin shoppe. I totally get how you are feeling. I'm here for support. Maybe try saying to yourself that it could happen. "This could happen on the 7th, do I want it to? No"

Ocd interrupted me when I said the statement and said yes. I had a mild panic attack while driving. I kept apologizing to my son for my mistakes. Im 24hrs away from seeing my son and logically I know ocd is trying to get me to stay away. It just sucks that ocd is trying to take away my excitement about seeing my son.

@luchalysol That happened to me when it came to my mom. I was scared but the only way I could even try to "accept it" was to be around her more
