Maybe your partner will make you happy, maybe he is wrong for you. No one can tell the future or reassure you. Maybe you all will break up, maybe not. Accept the uncertainty and do not fight the anxiety with compulsions. Compulsions are the only thing continuing ur ocd cycle

@Mandy7710 Don't suppress these thoughts or ignore them! Accept the anxiety and sit with it. The possibility you all will seperate eventually is very possible. But also, you may not. Who knows? Dont ignore or suppress the thoughts, dont seek reassurance or "commonality", and try to stop doing compulsions. Compulsions are the only thing continuing your cycle!

Have you thought about both of you seeing a therapist together?

No. He’s taking it a lot better than I am. I am a very sensitive being so it got harder on me. He doesn’t wanna break up either. But my friend says that she believes his problem doesn’t stem from the relationship but his own problems. She talked to him when I had a mental breakdown from it. Been having a mental breakdowns everyday to the point I had heart palpitations and my hands turned pale. I’m terrified to be near him 😞 the only time I feel better is when we cuddle.

He’s been gentle around me and knows I trying to keep to myself about this. He gets sad when he sees me stressed out.
