Dude being asexual with HOCD is crazy. Because like I know I don't want to have sex with anyone but my HOCD is centered on how I'm perceived. So I'm vibing and then all of a sudden I have a panic attack over what I'm wearing because "what if they think I'm a lesbian". Well babe I don't want sex and I've never wanted to be in a relationship with a woman so like...why doesnt logic work with anxiety? Thanks for coming to my random rant.

@lmaocd🍓🥰 I’m comfy haha, thanks for asking 😌 With guys, like the physical attraction is so strong, it’s hard for me to be like yeah hahaha nah I don’t ever have an attraction to guys. When I like a guy, like ... actually have a crush on him (which takes a long time and is super rare tbh), I just feel warm and calm in general. I’m not super big on like traditionally romantic things, so I don’t expect that and really don’t wanna be expected to provide that. I just like spending time with them doing our own thing if that makes sense. With girls it’s a little different bc I mostly lack that physical attraction altogether. I know when girls are pretty, but I don’t rlly have that same intense attraction as I do with guys. I feel a lot more stable around girls but that’s bc tbh I’m just more comfy with them, but it hardly breaches into like.. ‘I wanna exclusively date you romantically and call you my gf’. I would be 100% okay with like,, a queer platonic bond but I get uncomfortable super fast when I try to imagine something more. Maybe it’s just a ‘you haven’t met the right person’ thing but I’m honestly just fine with this bc it’s what makes me the most comfortable. Most of the time explaining all that is hard tho so I just tell ppl I’m bi lol 😭

@lmaocd🍓🥰 I think it’s pretty possible. It’s just about comfort level, you know? At the end of the day, I just want to bond with someone. I’m only comfortable in calling it romantic in very rare situations. I saw someone else describe it as like,, you want an ultimate best friend and I’m like .. yes! Sexuality is complicated definitely and I know this but my ocd is like ok but you need to know fOR SURE and I’m like nooo I really don’t haha. Thank you for being so respectful!
