Honestly I could relate to a few of the signs in it, but it’s over 30 pages long. I wouldn’t recommend reading it since it’s made for actual lesbians, not people with hocd. The ocd will try to trick you into thinking, even if it’s only one sign you relate to or multiple with other reasons, that you’re not straight. It made me pretty anxious to read it and I got a whole new thread of intrusive thought (comphet, etc). I’ve considered asexuality before and apparently some lesbians think they’re asexual before realising they’re into women (it had a field day with that). Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it but at the end of the day you need to do what’s best for you. Have a great day xx

I read it and i could definitely relate to some of the few signs in it, but i honestly believe it's because my relationship with men is so bad, losing interest when they return the feelings, attraction to fictional men, etc! i feel a little bit nervous but i know reading this was good exposure therapy because i've been holding it off!

Don’t read it. (1) it’s stupid and unscientific (2) you WILL relate to it and if you’re not ready to be seriously trigger yourself and manage that feeling without compulsions you’re just setting yourself up for making your ocd worse.

I believe a lot of women can! I actually felt a bit calm after reading it, knowing i didn't relate to much! Women of course have higher standards, it's so hard to find decent guys these days! i know my past relationships with men + watching my family have traumatized the idea of a proper relationship for me!

@lexnot I've never dated a guy for some reasons, but I have someone I fall in love.I'm overly worried about stupid things I've done in the past.I don't wanna be lesbian/bisexual or something else 😭

@miragunes Hey! i haven't been in many relationships either, by choice and because I backed out. I have major commitment issues so the idea of being with someone forever scares me to death, i'm not sure if i'm just majorly afraid of getting hurt or something else! Let your brain say "i'm gay" "i'm bi", that's what I do, i say it over and over, and if it doesn't feel right every single time I say it then my brain calms down, i say i'm straight which feels right and then my brain gives me a bit of a break :)

@lexnot I always think women are more beautiful than men. After the Hocd started, every time I saw a woman, I said if I were a man, I would be a lover. But there was no such situation before Hocd :/

@miragunes I believe women age beautifully compared to men! if those situations didn't happen before then tell that to your brain! Make sure you take advantage of NOCD's free therapy call!

@lexnot I always try not to look at the girls in the locker room in case they get it wrong.Even if they don't get it wrong, I never want to look anyway. By the way, I'm an asocial person.

@miragunes If you catch yourself looking it's okay! I understand lol! your brain is like "hmm it's not okay to look but just because you aren't supposed to do it i want to do it" i think that can apply to many scenarios!
