I dont have this exact type of ocd, but I definitely have the "confess" parts of it. Ocd tries to confuse you, and doubt yourself. Just tell yourself "ocd is trying to make me doubt again. Im not falling for it."

I always feel like I need to confess things to people, like they’ll find out I’m a fake, it’s frustrating. Sometimes my OCD tells me I wanna say things or confess things that I would never ever do. It’s like “what if you stood up and said this offensive things right now.”

I’m so sorry you feel that way. I know it’s tough. My HOCD used to be much worse, but as time has passed it has gotten better, and I’ve gotten more sure of myself even though it’s still a struggle. So there’s always hope. OCD does tend to move on from things over time. I hope you are seeing a professional.

It doesn't mean anything. Your mind will think certain thoughts because it knows you dont want to think about it. That's the cycle that keeps the obsessions going. That's just how ocd works, dont doubt yourself.

@Ihateocd83 Have you tried Thought field therapy while thinking about your worries? Lots of guided videos on YouTube! It helped turn down my distress a few notches! I used the "TFT Tapping treatment for trauma and anxiety relief" uploaded by Tap into now! :)

@Ihateocd83 Yeah, Thought field therapy! You can check it out on YouTube. The stuff that you wrote are ocd thoughts. They can be very convincing and cause a lot of anxiety and doubt, but the less attention you give them the easier they will be to ignore. Dont give them meaning. They are just thoughts, not reality. =)

@washie Thats the thing i dont know if its reality or not. My mind just makes me think of men constantly. Another thing i say is this isnt going to be good when it comes out 😞. Its so convincing

This is ruining my life and i just feel like some of the things ive said in my head shows im in denial I have said i am gay to myself And how is it a choice And i wish i could come out And me and my boyfreind And i want a boyfreind. Its bizarre and i cant stop my mind

Yeah man, I get caught in weird loops like that too. Feels like there is actual feeling behind it. So hard to move forward. It’s like I want to do ERP to get better, but I start and it feels too real and I get freaked out. Don’t know what to do anymore.

Yeah man, in the same boat. Can barely think myself. I just want to sleep all the time and lock myself up, but the thoughts never leave me alone.
