I have exactly the same problem since 20 years! Each time I am suceeding in something, I have the ocd that I do't deserve it and that I need urgently to hurt myself. I did not find the way to solve my problem. be strong

I remember dealing with that guilt where I would think I was unworthy amd undeserving. I remember going to the store with my parents and they would ask me if I wanted something. I would say no because I was thinking I didn't deserve anything. Not even a bag of chips! I didn't even know it was ocd which made it worse lol. But yeah I get it. Remember that u are a beautiful human being in the eyes of God. I know that ocd can be mean and tell u all this stuff, but u get to choose to believe it or not. Dont believe what it says ❤.

My actual theme is to talk in public. i am a manager in a company and I have frequently talked with my team. As soon as I have to talk in front of all my team, I am telling myself that I dont deserve it and that I have to speak badly or saying some wrong words. It causes to me a lot of anxiety and usually not a speech as good as i would like!

Unfortunately, I turned ERP into a compulsion, so right now I’m waiting for my appointment on Monday with my therapist to try it again in a way that’s not a compulsion. I feel less anxiety nowadays, it’s more guilt, resentment, and depression. I don’t know how to do ERP with those emotions cause how do I rate my anxiety levels when the anxiety isn’t there as much anymore?
