You may not want to refer people to Ali Graymond. She’s not an ocd specialist. She’s actually a “coach” and isn’t qualified to administer therapy but does anyways. It’s pretty harmful :/ I’d suggest “The OCD Stories” as a replacement podcast. The host is training to become a specialist and interviews qualified specialists all the time.

Damn, so sorry to hear that. I’ve been dealing with this since about 2014 and I can’t imagine another two years. I just found out about it this year. I feel similarly at this moment. We will overcome this though. Tho obsessions contort reality beyond belief, but they can be stopped.

Thank you for saying that. It’s been tough, but some years have been better than others. I wish my brain would take a break so I could just have a moment to breathe and feel normal

@annierae Yeah, I had a couple years where it didn’t hit me as hard, but I would still get light false attractions and stuff. It is a struggle. I’m so tired at this point, I want to just give in. We will get better though. Have you attempted to contact NOCD for therapy?

@nGfloat I did finally set a session with a therapist - it’s in 2 weeks. Have you done therapy on here before?

@annierae Yeah, I am currently with an NOCD therapist. I’m having to go back to more intensive sessions though because it is difficult for me to break the soocd theme. I was able to stop a couple of others, but this one is very difficult to break.
