I totally understand this ! I go through it as well. There’s moments when I’m actually happy and then I’m like wait a minute..”do i actually have ocd or am i just not in love with my boyfriend?” OCD is going to find a way to make us miserable. Keep fighting through we’re stronger than it !

I can completely relate and have been there as well within this month probably a few times. I’ve also felt a bunch of other positive things about my husband too though, so try not to discount any positive feelings just because you have negative ones. All I can say is don’t give up and you always have a choice no matter what your OCD might tell you.

How you view yourself is how you view someone else , if you want that deep love for him you must have it for yourself just think about ,if you wanted to walk someone across the room you have to be able to walk yourself right ? Same goes for loving yourself and others 💚💚

You love him you do , but before you can give someone love you have to love yourself not saying you dont love him now but in order for you to show that love you have, you to show it to yourself and it will deflect a mirror on him 💚💚💚💕💚

So not loving myself is preventing me from loving him?... 😞 my head destroys everything... things that don’t bother me bother me now... I am the only one that drives so my brain attacked that but now it’s so blended I can’t tell if it’s me anymore...

My friend wrote me this. Amanda you refuse to see one perspective because you are way too attached to the idea of not loving him.

@Mandy7710 Yea so when it comes to OCD sometimes it’s super hard to pay attention to anything else but the thoughts that pass through your mind. Just focus on the thoughts and notice how they make you feel. Do they cause you distress ? Or do they make you feel a sense of urgency to figure them out? That’s how you can figure out the difference. You feel a sense of urgency because you think something is wrong because you feel okay for right now....notice that. Literally had this same thing last week. It’s not easy it’s really not. But you are not your thoughts and you are not your OCD.

@Anonymous They sometimes don’t appear.. but I still obsess... which makes me feel like I don’t want him to touch me anymore which is not true, the feelings that I have feel so real... it’s hard. Sometimes my mind wants to flatline.. I realize I was so much happier with him before things in my mind got bad... 😞 I’m scared bc the thoughts don’t always appear they still do but I feel like my brain is worn out... before my anxiety got bad I would always obsess about loving him enough. He wasn’t even doing anything wrong.... 😞 I hate my brain
