I understand how you feel. I’ve always been able to get an erection merely by looking at attractive girls (until hocd made me question all of this) and I had no shame in saying a certain dude was good looking because it was never sexual or anything just human nature. Recently, with hocd, the combination of diminishing attraction to girls has made me anxious as hell whenever I see an attractive man or scared that it would turn me on, which it has never once done in the past. I’m here w u on this and lmk if u needa talk

I have the same issue. Stop mentally checking if you’re attracted. I’ve gotten a little better, but my biggest thing has been automatically checking to see if I was attracted. That’s what caused a lot of my anxiety, because it seemed as if I felt more attraction towards men. Just stop mentally checking if you have attraction.

That’s a huge problem for me, for example even today when I was watching a show on tv I looked at every single person to see how I felt some guys I thought were attractive but the girls just felt like a brick wall which makes my problem worse but I can’t not check like I do it without thinking and when I try to stop I may see a guy and think oh he’s a good looking guy and then instantly look at a girl to try and see if I feel different without thinking out it. Got any tips on how you stopped?

Yeah same here!!!! It’s hard when it’s something that happens automatically. I still haven’t stopped yet🥴 I’ve gotten a LITTLE better to where I don’t do it to every single person. I’m just being more conscious with myself when I do it. And noticing how much I do it. It’s helped me not to do ALL the time but I’m still working on it.
