TW I had an anxiety attack earlier and I’m still shaking and trying to calm down hours later. I was in this ocd server on discord and someone in the pocd chatroom said that they were an actual pedo after relating to one of my messages. I tried telling them that maybe it was just ocd but they were pretty convinced. I had to leave the chat after that because felt so sick and disgusted that I was talking to an actual pedo. I feel like them relating to me makes me one to and that I’m just in denial. I’m incredibly anxious and I can’t sleep. I feel like I’m going to be sick.

Thank you. I talked to my sister about it but she kept reassuring me that they may have not actually been a p. But I have feeling that they are. :(

@🐝 Yeah and it sucks, it can be the thing they hate the most but when accidental past events or intrusive thoughts that are over the line they feel convinced

This is why I don’t join OCD discord servers...well, this and just worrying we’ll all just ruminate and reassure each other all the time. I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s something I fear as well :(

Damn this is probably one of the reasons I wouldn't want to join a server based on OCD. I get that it can help people by coming together and their problems but things like that can happen and it would make me seriously uncomfortable. For a while tonight I was filled with guilt thinking of the time I searched for a term that I didn't know was fucked up in terms of porn and even with the video result it wasn't bad. But looking back knowing what it was, I feel disgusted and terrible about myself. It made me fm reassure myself with reddit posts but it turns out this happens to a lot of people and with one person the exact same situation as mine. Majority of them say it takes a lot more than that to be investigated even it comes to watching videos on porn. I'm sorry that you got really uncomfortable though. I'm hoping it was just an assumption you ran with. Please don't vomit. If you want we could probably talk on Discord
