Hi Mandy, I saw you commented on my post and I’ve seen you post often lately. I’m so sorry you’re going through this rough period. I remember you mentioned in another post that therapy could be helpful. I highly recommend it and I hope it helps you. I’ve been reading articles and listening to interviews by Dr. Steven Phillipson. It’s a pretty long one but I recommend reading his article, “Choice” which is online. In the meanwhile, I hope you can do what you can to feel better. You can get through this! 💫☀️

😞😞I hope you both are right... I want everyone to be right... I have been fighting for 8 years but this takes the cake... I want to feel like I did a long time ago... all I wanna do is eat over and over again... 😞 he is a handsome man. He is sexually attractive. I love him.. I want to love him but it feels forced... I constantly hear what if when I do something with him... I know if I broke up with him I know it wouldn’t be permanent.

I know what you mean. I was in the same situation a few months ago with the job and rocd. It’s crazy seeing posts like this bc I feel or have felt with such similar things. And if it helps, you’re not alone. And I made it through that time and so will you. I’m doing ERP. Not paying attention to any negative thoughts. It’s just nonsense. Try to occupy your mind, stay busy. Act like the negative thoughts about your relationship language you don’t understand. Also I recommend watching Ali Greymond on YouTube.

Wow, 8 years! It’s been about a year for mine. I’m so sorry about having to struggle for that long. I don’t want to reassure you or send you to a reddit hole, but the person who responded to this particular thread said something that I think is helpful to know. As hard as it is, it must be put into practice. https://www.reddit.com/r/ROCD/comments/i0188e/what_to_do_when_youve_accepted_intrusive_thoughts/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body
