Hello! Welcome to the app I also suffer from ROCD. I 100% understand where you’re coming from and I’ve done my fair share of googling for reassurance. I’ve also been with my partner for 6 years and I share the exact same thoughts as you. I promise you that you aren’t crazy. You will get better :)

@LeighanneW I don’t exactly know. I feel like I’ve always had anxiety but I feel like I slowly started developing OCD about 5 years ago. I wouldn’t say I was obsessed with these thoughts like I am now but they did come more frequently about 2-3 years ago. I didn’t understand it was OCD until about 4 months ago though when it got so bad that I decided to see a therapist. How about you?

@One Day at a time I started feeling like I have OCD when I was 12, I'm turing 20 next month. It was bad Harm OCD. I remember one incident when it was so bad that I was running back and forth in my room for like 30 minutes straight touching my standing fan to help the thoughts feel "better" and it made me fall to the floor crying. This month my routine has been more mental than physical, as in I'm doing mental reassurance and stuff instead of doing physical actions to try and make my intrusive thoughts go away.

Update: My mom just told me that she found a therapist for me and that he seems really nice. My appointment is on Thursday and I'm kinda scared and nervous.
