I have HOCD and i am 19 years old always have been straight. But im battling this for 3 weeks now. Do i just have to sort of fake accept in my brain to let it go?

How are you dealing with it?

What triggered mine was that right after my heartbreak with my boyfriend. My friend told me watch out you might become bi or gay from this. And alot of people called me bi or gay before but it didnt get to me before probably because i wasnt experiencing heartbreak. It was also brought on by another person saying that a gay girl thought i was pretty.

Its not as bad as it use to be. Im just facing anxiety from being around girls. Being more observant and paranoid. And a little bit of a loss in attraction with guys. I have so much will to fight but then again not. Ive had a major case of insomnia and panick attacks at home in class and in my dreams and sleeping. I think things that i know i would never think of. I cry to myself and say if im not attracted why wont you leave. I get confused and lost with myself. I have so much will to fight i do. Because i know my destiny and i know who i am

@need help And its like i see all these people get through it and the ocd spike was so random. Its so illogical and stupid for me so why would i even care? But i always look at a girl now and say oh shes pretty or i look at her ass and say i wish i had an ass like that. Or say sheesh her boobs are huge. And i told my mom about these things and she said thats ok its just you being more observant but i never cares about that shit till now. Well i did but not as much. But i think exposing myself to girls is making it better?...

@rachel1219 Im 19 I know im straight because i always have always will I doesnt switch like that it had to have happened a long time ago...your daughter might be more of a concern since she is 13 years old and shes still going through a big phase of puberty. But i wouldnt worry does she like guys at all?

@Anonymous help She has only and only liked guys ! And she just saw a video on TikTok of two girls doing inappropriate things and now she is completely derailed !

@rachel1219 Dont worry this is her hocd sinking in i use to think the same still do. Like oh i just saw that on the website is that a sign?? No its not thats stupid. Its our obsessions that are causing us to feel like this. This might just be a little phase shes going through i wouldnt worry but also maybe have her get therapy before it gets out of hand? Im doing the free call and if it works im going to in person therapy

@rachel1219 My word of advice? Get her off social media. Immediately. It destroys you and your soul and mind. After this spike i realized i need to stay off social media forever its brought nothing but worry for me. Get her off tiktok that nastu stuff is everywhere itll only kill her more. It destroyed me dont let it destroy her. No more social media

Aw im sorry to hear that. All i know is that i have too much will to fight this. I cant and wont give up
