@Ihateocd83 It means that sexuality isn’t concrete but can vary between them, which is true. But I don’t know if this situation is a good example of that because aesthetic attraction is not an indicator of sexuality. Aesthetic attraction, what you’re experiencing, typically isn’t used to indicate sexuality on the spectrum. When people are looking at sexuality and where on the spectrum they land, they mostly look at sexual and romantic attraction. Rarely are we ever looking at aesthetic attraction because is doesn’t actually say anything about your sexuality.

@Ihateocd83 Aesthetic attraction is when you find someone pretty or handsome. It’s what you felt when you found that other man attractive. A lot of people make the mistake of lumping in aesthetic attraction with sexual attraction but they are different.

I was speaking more generally about how people confuse and lump aesthetic and sexual attraction. I don’t mean it as any reassurance to you and what you’re experiencing. I was just telling you the facts so you can be more informed. There’s still uncertainty you have to deal with.

I know it’s really hard. OCD can take away every bit of your identity away.
