I kinda get where you're coming from. Like I've never questioned if I liked boys growing up, I just always did. But that's just my personal experience. And SOOCD makes you question everything. That's why OCD is known as the doubting disease.

I’m lesbian and I’ve been attracted to women all my life but I only came to that realisation few years ago. However, I didn’t obsess over it and it didn’t give me nightmares or anxiety. Everything made sense and I accepted myself without any effort. So yeah, if you’re gay, you’ll know deep down you are

That’s kind of how I think about what I’m going through. Like I’ve been aroused by erotic images of women but at the same time I unquestionably desired the company of men and it always felt right and nice. And even though I’m not at all against being LGBT, the thought of having sex with women for the rest of my life makes me sad and anxious, despite arousals in erotic material. OCD is just kind of a bully! I’m glad you were able to come to the realization for yourself and feel comfortable in your sexuality! That’s awesome!!

@maybethistime If the thought makes you sad and anxious, then you’re not gay lol. Attraction is supposed to feel good not the other way round

Haha ughh my ocd is always doubting with comments like this like “you know deep down you’re a lesbian too” ugh can’t win in an argument either because we all know that’s useless 😭😂

@Tiredxxx I’ve had it for about 5 years - but I should say I was diagnosed really young so didn’t do much to treat myself

@hocdgirl Yes, partially. I’ve stopped struggling hocd, but still struggle a lot with other sexuality themed ocds, but it’s certainly gotten much better. At this point, I know I’m not bi but I really wouldn’t care at all if I was.

i literally don’t know what i’m going to do if this never goes away. i literally can’t imagine the point of anything if it doesn’t get better. :/ rly hoping some miracle will randomly happen
