My intention on sharing this post is to find others opinion on that or what their therapists told them or what they are doing in this situation. I would appreciate it if you would answer me Does anyone else sometimes have an intrusive thought that turns you on? Also my psychologist told me that is natural and that doesn't make me a p*** and she even told me that even if I masturbate on this thoughts doesn't make me a p***. Someone who is a p*** he is stalking and seducing kids. She is absolutely sure that I am not a p*** because we are talking about that 9 months now and she would find it out in this time... I don't know anymore... I know that I m not indented to harm any kid and I know that I will not do it. But from the other hand I have listened about people who are p*** and they haven't ever acted on their desires, but my psychologist disagrees. P*** is someone, she says, who is doing it,and the same thing is for a murderer. Murderer is someone who is planning to kill someone or he kills someone not someone who is thinking about murder...

Yes she told me about the last one too. And I didn't knew about the psychopath thing... If you have anything else to share with me I would appreciate it

@Ihaveocd Yeah its something like 45-50% of them are psychopaths. A lot of times they've suffered from extreme head trauma. They tend to play child games and interact with toys like children. And I don't mean like people that use regression as a coping mechanism, this is like their primary way of recreational activity. And then of course their attraction is usually to children 13 and younger (some researchers want to include up to 15 into the category but there's some debate still) with them being at least 5 years older. And they have STRONG sexual desires for them which they get nothing but intense pleasure from. It's funny a lot of people I know have no clue why I know so much about pedophiles, they're like "Why would I want to know this much about them?" I always say it's just because I find the mental illness interesting like many people find psychopaths interesting" which is true but it's also from my obsession of making sure I'm not one lol.

@PRYM I know. In past I had other obsessions too, not so serious and I was searching a lot about things and people where like " something is wrong with you" and I was thinking that something was wrong with me but now I realised that they were obsessions... It is said that is is for 13 years old but I would, personally without any scientific knowledge on that, agree that it has to be at 15. Thank you, you helped me a lot
