He’s right^ and also, you had previously said that you’re not 100% straight so anywhere between 1-2 is going to represent that and it doesn’t really mean anything. You have a boyfriend who you’re happy with and attracted to, so why focus on that right now when it may be super influenced by ocd?

I agree

You know your decision right now is going to be heavily influenced by ocd

You’ve said in many posts that you aren’t straight so I wouldn’t worry about what a scale says

@Ope Did you mean to reply to me or Holley?

@Justmesadly but you said i’m just not straight

@holley You have said that in at least 5 posts. I’m not telling you your sexuality , simply saying exactly what you said many many times in your posts. replying the exact same way Mary did as well. Checking with a scale isn’t going to make anything concrete or confirm anything for you, just make it worse. As Mary and Ope said

@Justmesadly i never flat out said “yeah i’m not straight at all”

@Justmesadly are you saying i have?? you’re obviously assuming my sexuality

@holley I’m not assuming your sexuality ! I could not care less what your sexuality is. I don’t know you. I’m trying to help you so you don’t have to post things like this !

@holley Holley, we are not out to get you nor do we want to define your sexuality for you, we are just saying that in many posts you have mentioned that you are not 100% straight so it’s normal that the Kinsey scale does not show a 0. Does not mean you are not straight, does not mean you are bi, doesn’t mean anything to be honest. As Ope said, you should try to stop finding an exact label because nothing will ever satisfy the ocd

@mary65 i just need something like everyone else has a label it’s so annoying i can’t handle this.

@holley Ocd won’t be satisfied. Try calling yourself bi , I am willing to bet OCD will be like nah I’m not that. Have you read about ACT. That has really helped me!

@Justmesadly what’s that??

@holley Acceptance and commitment therapy. It’s like instead of fighting the thoughts you just let them be there. I have seen some people say they laugh at the thoughts and make a joke about them in there head. Read about it! Or maybe YouTube it

@holley I also recommend therapy if you’re not in it. I seriously have gone from 1883642993 anxiety to 5 in my first 7 sessions! Understanding OCD helps, as well as understanding why you have the thoughts etc

@Ope i’m in therapy but she is not the correct therapist for this type of ocd i can tell. i know now i’m going to have to pay for therapy now because there’s no other options for me with my insurance and it sucks. i can’t find anyone.

@Ope it’s okay yeah that’s kind of what my therapist is doing now i’ll try that actually

@holley OCD therapist can help with any theme! I know they can be hard to find and money isn’t always an option. My insurance doesn’t cover nocd either but thankfully I begged my parents (Im an adult) and they are paying for it. But I’m also sending the bills to my insurance bc sometimes they will still pay even if they aren’t covered
