I have no idea I’ve had a couple of dreams like this it’s scary I’m at a point where idk if it gives me anxiety or not I’m scared if it doesn’t that mean I don’t love him which leads me to check I know I love my bf but it’s scary whenever I check I feel both not even anxiousness and it’s like so scary and worrying what if I don’t

Don't check, it makes the situation worse. You won't feel anything when you check for that. Checking is trying to control things and we want none of that control in our relationship. I am not really scared by the dream as I always think of him and don't want anything with anyone else, just curious why exactly this scenario keeps repeating

You can tell me something else that's bothering you, I am far from perfect in my ROCD but maybe I could tell you what is wrong to do and what's making your anxiety worse

@Daria Alexandrovna I really love my bf but as the rocd gets worse for me I also have (hocd) I get scared when he says sweets things like he wants to spend the rest of his life with me I do as well but because of this I begin to worry and get scared and I’m like do l? (I do) I know that he’s the only one for me and it scares me to think I could possibly hurt him like this

@ocd sucks Yep I also don't feel really good when I hesr sweet things because I begin questioning Am I lying when I think I want it? The best thing is trying to cut down the rumination. Engaging with thoughts. Also being busy building your own life instead. Do you do ERP?

@Daria Alexandrovna No I’m not I tried to do it on my own without a therapist it went somewhat well but I think I got a back door spike a week ago and I’m so confused and it’s making me believe almost that the thought are true I’m scared they might be this is horrible

@ocd sucks I keep denying the thoughts in my head over and over again but I’m scared I might want what Is happening I feel so bad all the time because it kinda feels like I actually want this but I don’t I know I don’t is it normal to be convinced at times it honestly scares me more and has me overthinking more when I don’t feel anxiety

@ocd sucks Denying is a compulsion and won't make you better in the long run, you can't convince yourself to think other way around

@ocd sucks Being anxious about not being as anxious is also part of OCD to get back into square 1 but basically getting rid of the anxiety is a point. The thoughts shouldn't concern you. It doesn't mean you agree with them
