For anyone that wants to know what was said I'll post it below in reply to this comment. This is a TRIGGER WARNING. I'm only sharing in case it helps with exposure or anyone else heard similar things in their life and need to know they aren't alone.

What was said is hidden by the app. But I think this is a pretty typical way to discover ocd. Everyone has intrusive thoughts then sudden they bother us

@Justmesadly I didn't realise the app did that, I guess it's to protect people. Anyway, thank you for replying. Do you think it is the intrusive thought that causes OCD or has the OCD always been there waiting sort of thing?

@Anonymous2020 Ocd doesnt always have to be there. But no the intrusive thoughts don’t cause ocd

@Justmesadly That's interesting 🤔 my grandad had OCD, but about personal cleanliness and my mum shows signs of it (having to check the doors and windows several times at night, has to say things in the right order to my nan or something bad will happen). Genetics seems to be a strong factor.

@Anonymous2020 Yeah some people it’s genetics, I think I’ve seen people who have it bc of genetics it’s a different type so you actually have had it since you were a kid possibly. But I don’t think it’s 100% always that way
