i feel this, i’ve left many jobs too. Why don’t you give independent work some thought?

Your best path to a job you like is to stick with one for awhile and get experience. It's not a foolproof plan, but it's the best one. I recommend discussing with your parents and therapist how long they recommend you stick this one out.

I thought about that as well. Sometimes sticking to jobs i ended up liking people down the road even if the circumstances were a lot, or just different to this situation. But still it’s summer i have the opportunity to start my life right again and be happy and i really just want to do it in a place where i feel good? I’ve realized my parents mean well and sometimes they can push me in the right direcrion but there are instances where i just know that what i need and i feel like this is one of those. I got better by trusting this feeling and I think that same feeling could help me here ( it doesn’t feel ocd motivated atleast i dont think) as for my therapist she really just wants me to stick to a job haha which is understandable but I guess maybe the reason that I haven’t been able to is because im trying to jump in rather than just finding something i love and doing that?

@Ben84 Creative writing and directing. Been writing since well pretty early on maybe even elementary? That or something that has to do with psychology and basically being a profiler

@Coul.C A writer? Welllll laddy-frickin-dah! Just kidding 🙂 (https://youtu.be/Xv2VIEY9-A8). Have you ever read Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke? Even if you're not a poet, it's great advice for anyone pursuing something creative. It's a short book too and perfect for someone your age. As I recall, it might even have advice for dealing with a job you don't like. As for the psychology, maybe ask your therapist about it. Since it's similar to her field, maybe she has some insight

If you have bills to pay, then stay at the job while you look for another one. Even if you don’t have bills to pay, look for another job but stay with this one. Don’t be a quitter.

I dont have any bills to pay. And i come back from this job feeling tired and lame. Besides not being a quitter the only reason i can think of for staying at the job would be that i dislike it so much that it would make me want to look hard for another job. And is that really a good reason to stay?
