As a kid i would always have girl best friends / sisters (i always wanted a sister), and i would imagine in my head like us in the future She would be my best friend and i would have my husband and child and she would have her husband and child And i feel like i only did that because i wasnt aware of the possibility of two girls being together But yet i was I learned what being gay was at like 6/7 and it never once crossed my mind that i could be I always liked guys and saw them as romantic partners It’s never been girls before, not once until fucking ocd started And now idek where i stand And im scared that im a lesbian and had signs in the past and everything:(

The first step is to accept that you could be a lesbian. Not that you are, but that it is a possibility. I identify as a male, but I accept the possibility that I could be lying to myself. It’s not going to stop me from living my life. Do you see what I’m saying here? The key to getting your life back isn’t being reassured that you’re not a lesbian, it’s to accepting that MAYBE it’s true, and letting it go. It’s about no longer fighting the fear and moving on. OCD demands your attention. Don’t fall for its tricks

Ik but it’s just so hard. I just wanna be certain of my heterosexuality bc my brain tells me that I can’t live my life if I don’t know it.

@strawberry ice cream Oh, absolutely it is MUCH easier said than done. But you CAN live your life without having to constantly seek the answers. You CAN be free of the suffering. It’s hard, yes… but is what you’re going through right now any better? I believe you have the strength to do this!!

GIRLLL literally same. I relate to you SO MUCH is crazy. It’s so hard and debilitating. Idek who I am anymore. Hope we can get through this and live the life we actually want. sending you much love❤️ whenever u need to talk I’m here bc I relate to u so much and I hope we will fight this disease

@hate_ocd.123 I’m sorry gurl but I can’t give u reassurance. I feel the exact same way that u do so I hope we are both straight girls that happen to have HOCD. I hope this pass and we will live our lives freely
