The message thing makes sense to me for sure, I’ve had feelings where I need to make sure I say everything perfectly so people understand me perfectly. I think the photo thing makes sense too, for me it was usually that I would look at every tiny detail to make sure I like it.

please i need someone to share experiences... - that a certain facial expression of a person to whom ocd is attached causes a lot of thoughts that are connected to that facial expression, and that the images in your head are very detailed, and that they have a sound, words, and that you have a feeling of some kind of crawling from the groin all over your body?

Can anybody relate? I get so anxious to text people and reply, especially friends. I overthink everything I say wondering if they will think it’s funny or if it’s the right reply and when I send it I keep thinking that I said something evil or unfunny so I keep rechecking the text to make sure it’s ok. It’s so frustrating because all I want to do is talk to my friends but I get so anxious about texting them thinking something evil will happen so I just barely text them💔 if anyone has any advice to help with this please let me know 🙏

When I say I feel like I like a thought, I don’t mean the OCD is telling me like a thought or that I concluded that from a physical sensation. I mean, I genuinely feel like something in my brain lights up and it feels like I like it mentally. Whenever I hear people talk about liking thoughts (excitement, arousal), I always see things about groinals or heart flutters. Physical things. I don’t think I really ever see people talk about the mental sensation if this is even a thing. I just wanna know if anyone relates to this or has found an explanation for this because seeing it from an analytical point of view seems to help me sometimes. This is so, *so* especially hard for pocd themed thoughts :( Anyone relate?
