Anyone else have sexual orientation obsessions about fear of being asexual or aromantic? Used to have really bad HOCD but got treatment but I’ve never been in a relationship and fear it I think (feel rly anxious and overwhelmed at the idea of commitment or dating) and ocd has used this as fuel that I’m aromantic or something other and I’ll never have a relationship. So disappointed that I’ve relapsed, this feels so confusing

@HOCDiagnosed It just makes me feel terrified and nauseous. I’ve always dreamt of having a relationship one day and do desire sex/love in my head but when I get the chance for it I feel very anxious

I know I’m reassurance seeking badly I just can’t get off asexuality forums and keep seeing really triggering microlabels like ‘lithromantic’ and stuff that makes me feel so physically sick. Bcos I get anxious about getting into a relationship it feels like the evidence of me being aromantic is literally so strong and I just want to cry etc etc
