Hi! I’m not fully recovered, but my OCD has gotten a lot better recently, I have fought some compulsions and it’s much more bearable than before! We’re all in this together!

@WE CAN DO THIS Honestly, the best thing I do is finding a healthy outlet/distraction. I like drawing or watching a comfort show, some people say colouring helps, or writing down intrusive thoughts, because that way you’ve let them out. Also actually letting myself acknowledge that what I’m experiencing is OCD, and just sitting with the anxiety for as long as possible

i’m about 90% recovered from Pocd the only problem is when i do intimate things thoughts come back & I don’t know if it’s intentional or not but depression just takes over & I feel suicidal but the POCD has really calmed down since the summer so that’s the good part

I’m sure it’s been a rough few days for everyone, maybe even weeks or months. Hell, this last YEAR has been up and down for me! But I wanted to take this moment to congratulate everyone for coming this far. It’s no small feat! OCD is a killer, and it’s good at its job! The fact that all of you are still here fighting is a testament to how strong you are! We may not have the answers or explanation to everything, and that’s okay. We have to stay in the present, not the past or the future. Remember to practice being uncertain! It’s hard to remember the good days we’ve had despite all these horrible ones! There’s no scar to show for happiness, but we’ve got plenty to show for misery and pain. Keep hanging on, you’ve got this!

This is killing me slowly day by day, im a straight female 20 years old, i started getting hocd after a break up with an ex and coming off intense use of 🍁🍃 for a few years on and off, i think it has messed up my brain so bad… my hocd is weird because ive been with men my whole life always wanted to be with men.. i also used to always question every relationship “do i love him? Does he love me? Am I with the right person?” Anyways after my hocd triggered my tocd due to researching hocd and finding they can often be linked, I started getting tocd and it’s worse then ever because it’s not who I want to be and I’m going back to situations where my abusive ex partner called me a “man” during a fight. I’ve always been a tomboy but never had same sex attraction. Help. This is killing me. I haven’t been able to study or leave the house most days, and work! I’ve lost motivation for everything and I’m in a dark hole. I need some success stories please
