Hi! I was wondering if anyone has been successful with any OCD and depression medication that doesn’t make them gain weight and is considered weight neutral. I am on Luvox now and it’s not helping much. I have been on Zoloft but that ofc isn’t weight neutral. Please let me know! :)

Hi there! That’s a great question! I’ve been on a combo of Lexapro and Wellbutrin for almost 3 years now. I do remember some weight gain while I was adjusting to it. I hate that it’s a side effect, but it’s so worth it for my brain! Sorry I couldn’t be more of a help!

Thanks so much for your input! Yes I hate that is a side effect too. I gained a considerable amount on Zoloft and abilify and I’m totally okay with a few lbs here and there but at some point that adds to my depression. I’m so glad it’s working for you and for a long time as well. It must be nice to get even a bit of relief from the havoc our minds reek on us. Thanks so much for your response I will ask my Dr about it!!! 🙏🏻🤗
