I’m in a very similar boat! I’m so sorry, this is incredibly painful and distressing.
I have a therapist to talk to, but I still feel like even from him I’m looking for reassurance.
@Wildcat14 It is important that you stay aware of that. If you know you are seeking reassurance, you have to stop yourself and just breathe through the discomfort. The more we give in to seeking reassurance, the stronger the OCD gets and it will continue to have power over us. So much easier said than done, I know. But it is possible.
