This is a reaction from your body to protect yourself. You feel numb, empty, not even anxious. That is some kind of protection mechanism your body uses. Try to meditate, really be in the moment and breath. Allow your thoughts to be there, agree with your thoughts. The biggest thing: DO NOT try to understand what you really want. This is a compulsion. Let your feelings flow, accept them and embrace the uncertainty in life.
