I really feel your pain. It’s so hard to know what’s real and what isn’t. And everyday it’s harder to hold onto things that used to make you feel better. For example is I ever find a women attractive now I just automatically reject it like it’s not real. And I’ve g it so sure to doing that I feel like I believe it

Except I think I know whats real now man thats why Ive been deeply depressed lately, I want to say I confused myself by ruminating so much but im afraid that It was just a discovery process. I dont see a way out of this unless I accept it.

@Imaan7 I fully get that. I want to say I’m confused but it feels like it’s just realisation now? And it just makes the whole idea of ERP and therapy seem pointless yano

@BradOCD Pretty much, thats why I keep asking why seek therapy when ive already figured it out. Im so scared now. I just want these confusing thoughts to go away so i can clearly think

I understand how you feel but I think you are both reassuring one another. OCD is about doubt and it will never give you what you’re seeking (certainty).

hi - i know this was posted a while ago, but you are feeling what i am feeling right now. like exactly, idk if you still are on this app or you still have HOCD, but thank you for your post because i do feel the same as you right now and that is what i needed to hear that i am not alone in my feelings.
