I’m guessing you do rituals and things have to be just right then u get relief until the next one right first meditate and try exercising I don’t no how bad your ocd is but pick something small and try exposing yourself keep doing it you will no when it’s time to stop as for your wife I would say like the exposure build it up slowly to her if your nervous or embarrassed

I have alot of ocd your not alone even if someone doesn’t have the same type of ocd you have they still have ocd and can understand you but hideing your ocd can make it worse cause your trying hard to hide it you need to just tell her some things that bother you that you feel comfortable telling her then maybe watch videos on the ocd you have and I have rituals I need to do like I change my clothes a certain way I wash my hands then pick out my clothes lay them out in order then put on my deodorant clean my ears put my hair up then use my face pads on my face then I’m done getting dressed it has to be in that order I can’t do it a different way I wash my body in a certain way almost everything I do has a ritual I can hide some cause I’ve been doing it for so long but I can’t hide the rituals I have when changeing my clothes cause I turn round a couple times then put my clothes on I have to turn round a certain amount of times I can’t hide that so my bf new I had ocd from watching me get dressed but he didn’t no the other ocd I have like counting the amount of drinks I take the hits from a cigarettte the amount of times I roll up my windows in my car and which thing I’ll pick like if there’s a certain amount of things I’ll pick the second one as long as it’s an even number that’s the one I’ll chose the way stuff is put up like once I set stuff somewere it feels like it always has to be there if it’s in order it has to stay in that order to so I won’t move stuff just cause it makes me feel wierd everything has a spot and once it’s there is just hard to move it so alot of my stuff is cluttered and messy I’m currently trying to get into an ocd residential treatment place.
