Psychopaths don't get anxious about almost anything... so by worrying about it you probably aren't a psychopath.

It is a therapists job to understand and help people in your situation with the level of detachment you may be experiencing at this time. I stayed away from therapy for years thinking it would make me worse or not be able to help me, but I was quite wrong, and it was all because of my pride or doubt. You will not lose anything by trying to seek help. In honesty when you feel as though your life is in danger, seeking therapy is incredibly important for yourself, and wanting to resolving these fears shows that you are not a psychopath. I am only giving an opinion based on what has been presented, but I would suggest a therapist to speak with about these fears so that they may understand your situation and find ways which can help you feel the way you want to. I wish you the best in your journey and hope you can find the answers you are looking for!
