hi! you are in the right community, you will find lots of people and resources here to help you along the way. with ocd and doubt in general, it's really important to identify the rituals or safety behaviors (including avoidance) that you may be doing. a lot of times people engage too in mental compulsions including rumination (trying to figure something out) which temporarily feels like it makes you feel better but ultimately just makes it worse. i would encourage you to check out more of our webinars about the importance of reducing rituals and response prevention in general as well as dr michael greenberg's website/podcasts on the topic of resisting rumination.
