Same. I can’t afford ERP. It’s frustrating. The only therapist I know that does is fully booked. Not taking any new patients.

I have Medicaid to I’ve had ocd for 15 years I’ve just recently had a huge contamination trigger in my home pest control sprayed bug spray on majority of my brand new carpet in the apartment I just moved into I can’t even described the panick I’m in 24 7 and I live in Tennessee there’s nowere inpatient here specifically for ocd there’s rogers behavioral health outpatient ocd in Nashville but don’t accept Medicaid there’s alot of mental health places and inpatient places but they can’t help ocd they can only medicate it and they don’t understand ocd I’ve been to multiple doctors therapists and hospitals and always new wat they were doing to help wasn’t helping but didn’t realy no but since I started looking for help again I learned bout exposure and response therapy and that tlk therapy doesn’t help that most doctors and therapist don’t understand ocd that ocd required it down help and I admitted myself a few years ago into parkridge valley in Chattanooga Tennessee I went threw a horrible admissions they touched my clothes didn’t allow qtips they only allowed certain amount of clothes the water came out of the faucet wierd I had a roommate all that directly affects my ocd I need more clothes than normal to chnahe I wear my bras in order my clothes stay in zippered tote bags even my dirty clothes my deodorant and stuff can’t touch eachother I have to wash my hands a certain way and can’t touch the sink I have to be able to lay my clothes out on bed and wlk back and forth from bed to bathroom to wash my hands threw out my dressing rituals I staid for 3 days dieing on the inside panicking even more while not getting help to stop doing these things which was the reason I was there so doctor discharged me gave me a referral to an ocd place in Chicago told me they didn’t have the resources to help me I got out did the phone call for Chicago they didn’t accept me cause my insurance can only be used in Tennessee but there’s no inpatient places in Tennessee that doctor didn’t tell me to stay at parkridge valley he didn’t tell me to do outpatient he didn’t tell me to see my doctor and a therapist he told me I needed inpatient I needed an ocd inpatient hospital I had never in 15 years been refered somewere else ppl just medicated me wit 1 antidepressant like it’s a cure all and tlk therpay I thought that was gonna help but it’s been 15 years and just now finding out all the work I’ve been doing isn’t the rite care for ocd.

I’ve called everyone to get any kind of ocd help noone takes my insurance and the places are expensive and I’m on ssi for my ocd and make 560 a month I can’t afford help I’m disabled enough to receive ssi but not get help for it so I can live a fucking life my entire life has been ruined cause noone was treating me properly but they all got paid and lived there lives invalidateinf the severity of my illness cause they didn’t understand it now I no there’s ocd ppl out there that can help I just gotta find someone who accepts my insurance this is so rong for ppl wit ocd to have to deal wit for the past 3 months I’ve tried contacting everyone while feeling like I’m in a shock state no thoughts no feelings just panick and exhaustion I still can’t get help I’ve called nocd several times to see if there accepting it I’ve asked bout paying cash it’s 170 for 60 and 90 for 30 they have payment plans of 95 dollars every Friday I asked if I could just pay my entire 560 on the first to cover my sessions and they couldn’t do it I’m desperate.
