I experienced this as well. It also happened at once I got the thoughts under control. It’s one of the worst feelings because it feels so real. Nothing can stop the feeling, but know you’re not alone. Keep fighting!

i know what you mean. intrusive feelings are the worst and i don’t see them talked about as much. for awhile my ocd told me that fake feelings don’t exist, but they very very much do and they’re super horrible. i’m sorry you’re going through this too, i hope we both feel better

I’m in the same situation. I find this so hard as well because sometimes the feelings make you feel like you want your thoughts. :( But try to remember: Feelings does not equal facts.

@livefornow I don’t know honestly, I keep doing ERP as good as I can. But also find things to do to distract yourself, I like doing big puzzles lol so I’m doing that. And of course knowing that it’s JUST a thought or JUST a feeling

@livefornow But most important is to not analyze every single feeling you get. I know it’s hard but sometimes it’s not more complicated than that it’s just a feeling, and it will pass eventually

Ok looks like you can’t post screenshots lol but she/he wrote “I guess the more we think about feeling weird, the more we feel weird. That’s typically how things work! I can totally freak myself out about feeling “off” so I guess it’s better to accept the feeling instead of trying to understand them and push them away”
