when you think about something your boyfriend or whoever do something wrong does anyone feel like and urge to act on the thought? or something, idk if this makes sense and most of time i get anxiety from thinking that, but there’s times i don’t and it makes me worried.
You are emotional about what he has done and having OCD at the same time so there's an element of loss of control/uncertainty in the moment. The fact you are worrying about it likely means it's OCD.

okay because that feeling i felt was really scary.
like it was almost like it was okay for me too do because of what he did, and that made me worry even more, and feel even more anxious.

any tips on how to explain to my therapist about these thoughts? or maybe to get actually diagnosed with it?
@livefornow is it possible to have an urge, without the thoughts? and then the thoughts start coming in?

@livefornow that’s what OCD is your obsessing over it, and that’s what it wants you too do, and i often have a hard time with that as well, I can give you a link that helps calm the mind a bit, to distract yourself if you’d like!

@livefornow I’m not sure, like I said before, i’ve never been disgnosed always just assumed I have because all of the thoughts and urges, and feelings I have had before, so maybe about 3-4 years, it started off with me just having too touch things a certain amount of times, and doing it with an even number, and then recently it got bad again.
@livefornow I mean heck i used to worried that I was dying all the time, and I would have to text my mom to make sure i was okay, i’ve a lot of themes, and they tend to come and go
@livefornow Yeah, it’s hard to deal with, and I’m hoping when I talk to my therapist tomorrow I can tell her, that i think I have Ocd, we’ll that I’ve also had OCD, and it’s not like I want too be like this, or have these feelings and all of that, but there are times where my brain goes “no you want these thoughts” and then I find myself obsessing over that.

I often feel like i did something wrong even tho i am positive i didn’t, my boyfriend and i have been together for like 6 months and i’ve been completely loyal to him the whole time but recently i’ve been feeling the need to confess that i cheated on him even tho i didn’t and there’s absolutely no proof that i did something even close, i don’t talk to other men and if i do my boyfriend has full access to my phone and it’s usually a friend or me asking a simple question but i still feel the need to confess even tho i’ve done nothing wrong🥲 someone please help it’s so confusing
TMI!! Hey everyone, I was coming on here to ask if anyone has experienced this before! Im in an amazing relationship with my boyfriend so in this post I wanted to ask this question because this is how it felt to me! I remembered earlier today I was watching this movie, etc. and there was this spicy scene in it (iykyk) and it got me feeling some sort of way. This has happened before especially if I’ve played a game or watched a show with some content like this. I felt really in the mood and started to imagine my boyfriend and I doing those things together and I sort of decided to (yanno, the m word) hopefully everyone understands because I just don’t like saying the word😭, but I found that every time I do that, that’s when my ocd is at its worst/peak. Every time my mind has tried to convince me I’ve cheated, when I self pleasure. I get in the mood if I think of my boyfriend and I doing those things I see in movies, shows etc, and that’s when I’ll do it, But literally I realized after I’ve done that at times my ocd is at its worst because my mind will attack me constantly asking “Is this cheating? Does this make me a horrible girlfriend?” If I self pleasure, I also want to add that I mentioned it to my boyfriend at one time and he told me it wasn’t at all and that everything is okay, but constantly I feel guilty for it and extremely horrible. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this?
Ii spoke w my bf this weekend and he mentioned that he has thoughts just like me, but his don't bother him like me. I then felt a lot better and he tried dissecting one of his thoughts like I usually do and realized it felt more real for him after. That made me realize that none of my thoughts were ever true and I blew them up. However, yesterday I had a thought ab “wait wut if you liked that one guy? How dare you bc youre supposed to love your bf and not secretly like someone else” and treated it as I usually did bc I accidentally wanted to see if it was true but didn't rlly but I would check to see if it was there and now that thought feels so so so real now and I feel really bad how do Ik it's not real? I feel so bad and guilty bc lividly this makes 0 sense but it feels so prominent. It felt pretty real when it happened yesterday too. And now I feel awful bc how is it possible after my clarity the other day? Why does it feel so prominent 😞😞😞
