Harm ocd
Can harm ocd make you think you like the thoughts? Or that you actually wanna do it?

Yes this has been my biggest struggle lately. We just have to remember that ocd doesn’t respond to logic that’s why this is difficult. https://youtu.be/aYPSUfUkGNk Take a look at this video, it’s extremely helpful and she answers a lot of questions of harm ocd.
Yes!! I beleive that I actually want it to happend and that I like the thoughts. So I constantly check to see if I’m reacting the “right” Way to things
@Ruth-Emma I feel this, everyday.
I've been going through that battle too
@Ernesto Franco How you feeling now?
@Bikram Alot better. Thanks for asking.
@Ernesto Franco You are living normal life now? I mean its from medicine?
yess!! I’ve been struggling with this for a moment now! And it’s a scary thing but just know that it doesn’t define who you are!
@Mellll Same girl and it’s been so hard too :(
@Abayouu hey how have you been coping?
@brigalaxy It’s been really really hard honestly. I mean for some months my harm ocd actually was manageable and for some time I even was able to manage through panic attacks and I’d have days, weeks where I didn’t get any. But as of recently for these past 5-6 weeks I’ve been having really bad panic attacks for my harm ocd and I had multiple ones hit randomly today when I went to my moms friends house and I had to help declutter, might have to go tomorrow too and I’m not really looking forward to it mainly because with my anxiety I get impatient too and it was really hard to calm down there today which sucks because before I got harm OCD I was able to have more patience and I wouldn’t have mind to help 😞 now it feels like hell and I can’t catch a break at times. Even right now I’m having a severe panic attack in the car on the way home. I don’t even fully feel like myself anymore and I miss how I was before I got harm OCD. Now I’m just an anxious mess and the main way I cope is just walking around til I calm down or just letting the panic attack happen unfortunately it just won’t stop if I just try distracting myself. I hate how I’ve become I get more moody, impatient and just always scared
I’ve been struggling with this lately so much so it’s consuming me. It’s a taking the person I value the most that’s why it’s so trigging for me and I feel so much shame and guilt that I haven’t ate in days or slept properly. Is this normal? I feel like I’m loosing my mind.
@rose marie You are not alone. I’ve been in a spiral for the last few days after a couple of years of feeling totally fine. My OCD is back in full affect after one true crime video that triggered me. I lost a lot of sleep earlier this week. Don’t feel ashamed and don’t feel guilty as hard as that is and you are not losing your mind.
@FayNoel hey is your harm ocd like constant ? like is it on your mind 24/7
Yes
