You need a new therapist because having SO-OCD/HOCD is not you being gay/lesbian. They are thoughts that trigger something that means so much to you / something you fear. Remember these thoughts are not facts and they don’t mean it’s true. Accepting your thoughts/ ocd is not accepting your a lesbian it’s accepting the thought.

@polishgirl Id say it is intrusive thoughts because if you were attracted to women you would’ve saw signs and just known from a young age. I would suggest seeing a OCD specialist because they can help you with complussions, and rections to thoughts. Even if you think about the topic when your not having an intrusive thought it doesn’t mean anything. When we obsess over our thoughts that we don’t like it can take over our day and we will obsess with it whenever

@polishgirl ok let me put it this way. Do you think of woman romantically and wanting to be in a relationship with them? Do you have crushes on them? If no, and your having random thoughts that go against you then yes those are intrusive thoughts

She phrased that very poorly, your therapist. Whatever you do don’t read any further into it.
