Its coming like an end of us me and my girlfriend i think ocd attacked me so much for rocd and hocdthat i cant be with her anymore i see my self like happiest and flirting with another girls than being with she to be honest, i dontt want to be like this but i see like this all of this i think i dont got more energy to live this life and its so so hard😭🥺
I am so sorry that you are going through this. OCD can be so hard and so mean. Try and imagine if you didn't have OCD...what would your answer be? If you didn't get "stuck" on those thoughts. Also, it's important to sit with the uncertainty- that is what is likely causing the distress, the idea that you need to know right now whether she is the one or whether you are in love, etc. But remember, will you ever give OCD enough certainty? No- so we must stop trying. You can do this, there is hope- you are not always going to feel the way you do now- feelings change, I know when we are stuck in anxiety or distress it feels like it will be like that forever but don't believe that lie.

Love is not only a feeling but a choice. You can choose to stay in your relationship despite lack of feelings. You aren’t always going to feel in love with your partner all the time especially after knowing each other/being together for so long

Hi my boyfriend is currently going through this with me also due to all pain and trauma rocd has left us feeling weird even tho we are connected on a deep level because I have helped him so much through his rocd but because he confesses to me when he shouldn’t for 2 years it has left me resenting him a little and cuz he has rocd he’s been avoiding relationship stuff kissing ect and because he has rocd anxiety about relationships it’s left him feeling numb as there’s so much anxiety there’s no room for good feelings as we are your trauma , relationships can work it’s not changing girl friends which is the Answer as you’re the one with ocd so you need to find a healthy way of living with it with help because if you don’t your next relationships will also be attached
you will make it through this! your relationship can make it

@mrgg11 I’ve felt like you days ago, still do on occasion. I’m just choosing to do the best I can to ignore it and not feed into the thoughts. I wish I could flip a switch and make this go away for all of us.

Im so sorry for the immense pain you are in right now. One rule I find helpful is to never make decisions when stuck in an OCD spiral, try to sit with the anxiety until it goes down and not make any decisions. Once you are in a clear headspace with no anxiety is best for decision making.
HOCD, ROCD and TOCD . . . So my OCD recently all began with ROCD, I felt guilty all the time with my boyfriend, I wanted to stay with him so bad and I love him so much but my anxiety kept telling me to leave and that something wasn't right, that I'm going to be alone forever. Then my HOCD came up, "something doesn't seem right, what if you're actually gay?" and I struggled with this for about 2-3 months. After accepting that even if I am gay, I'm staying with my boyfriend.. The theme of being a transgender came up. That was the absolute worst of them all. It was at a time my anxiety was at its Peak so I was feeling disassociated and my mind just tried to explain that feeling as "you're in the wrong body". I was thoroughly convinced I was a man in a girls body for a solid 3 weeks, I woke up and that was the first thing on my mind "your a man and now youre going to lose your boyfriend, your life and everything that makes you, you." I didn't want to be a man, but my mind was saying "too bad, you are". I eventually went to therapy for this feeling, (they didn't diagnose me with OCD so they weren't treating me as an OCD patient) the thoughts eventually went away but now I'm back on my HOCD. Ive now thorougly convinced myself that I'm gay and will be with a woman for the rest of my life. I don't want to be and this thought scares me. I want to be with my boyfriend, not a woman. But my mind is saying "too bad, just accept that your a lesbian, you're in denial, just come out" but I don't want to be a lesbian ? can anyone relate to the feeling of convincing yourself to the point where you believe it?
I have rocd. It’s the worst feeling being with the love of your life and having these thoughts. I have been with my boyfriend for a year and few months and I just wish this disorder wasn’t even a thing. From the start of us being together I knew and felt he was perfect and EVERYTHING I’ve always wanted. I had thoughts about everything you can name of. If I love him or not, do I like other people instead, if he’s ugly, if I like him only because of his looks, comparing other relationships, if he did one thing off or different question if I really know him, thought he was a different person then what I really knew him for, believing and having the thoughts every single one feel real. It’s a nightmare. Because I would literally die on the instead from telling him these things when he never did anything. I have gotten much better with the love, and looks and all that but there’s always new “targets” as me and him say. It’s like I can never truly run away. I think of how easy it is for others in relationships since they don’t have this and I just want that with him. It’s been a year and a few months and yes we’ve went through hell and back and a lot of things have gotten better but not fully. Hopefully soon enough they will and EVRYTHING will be much better. I just want him. I can’t do anything without him like he’s really the first person I only ever imagined a future with. A future that I wanted to be married and have kids and just live a beautiful life with. I want his pain and suffering to end with all these thoughts he’s heard throughout the year. I never mean to hurt him. I never mean to break him. I just want him. I can’t lose him. If you have ROCD, it’s good your here. Get help, get support, talk to someone about this because it will get better. I’ve had my amazing days. 4 days straight! I never had that before but I lost it and trying to get it back. I know I will, just gotta keep trying hard. My boyfriend helps me so much by supporting and telling me “Your ocd is not you, these thoughts aren’t you, ocd attacks anything you care about.” I couldn’t be more lucky to have him. I’m the luckiest girl alive. He makes me feel that way and I just want this to be over already. I love him so much. Idk if this helps anyone with ROCD, but you’re not alone. Search up videos the help understand, pay attention and watch what you can do to fix it because it is. I’m not there yet but I will not give up, so everyone out there with any type of OCD. We can do this. Confidence is key. Don’t give up. We’re all here to help one another, and ofc regular support with friends family and definitely therapy.
Ever since my rocd got bad, I have no attraction or feelings toward my partner which is what my ocd wanted. Now, I’m constantly being tortured with thoughts that I want to/need to be alone and that Im just staying to not hurt/lose my partner. In my heart, that hurts because I know that is not true and that I love my partner. I’m struggling to determine what is real and what isn’t. My reality and life does not seem real anymore. It’s terrifying and it’s getting worse.
