OCD/diagnoses become the obsession
So I’ve had a few friends the past few years that everything was about their disorders and trauma. Everything revolves around it somehow. And I started my journey to diagnoses with them. But I’ve noticed it’s now become an obsession for me. I do anything and my immediate thought, “Oh, that’s this disorder. There’s that disorder acting up.” All of my diagnoses make sense but I sometimes feel I’ve gotten worse since this thinking started because now I’m ruminating on it. Before I just coped along and was fine but now I keep focusing in on it instead. So what if having OCD and the feelings of it start to take over my thoughts? What then?
