Yes! I’ve been paranoid about this too, which is why I don’t use a personal username and have my notifications turned off. I think you can also lock the app, therefore if someone is using your phone, they cannot access it. I also try to remind myself that the likelihood of this happening is low. 🤍

My boyfriend and I are both on the app and we both have ROCD 😂 We make it very clear that we are both entitled to this space and we should embrace uncertainty while taking advantage of this app. Doing so means not knowing each others username and not being specific when posting. It’s been an anxiety for both of us, but our ability to share this space has helped us grow and is also a form of deep love, in a weird way??

@JFtheoverthinker_ Then they’d be excellent detectives, lol! This is a safe place and your NOCD family supports you. Anything is a possibility but remember: possible ≠ probable.

@JFtheoverthinker_ Also, if they’re on here, they’re most likely struggling with OCD. And I don’t think we are in the business of outing each other :)

@JFtheoverthinker_ OCD and lack of trust go hand in hand! Where we can’t tolerate or accept doubt, OCD thrives. That’s its oxygen.

@JFtheoverthinker_ My therapist told me to think about the reasoning behind why I’m doing something. Is it to get relief from my OCD? Then it’s most likely a compulsion

@JFtheoverthinker_ Then do the opposite of what your ocd tells you :)
