nocd taking money

@Cactus11 then maybe it’s just mine. but money is talked a lot unfortunately:/ therapy isn’t cheap, but i’m wanting to warn people that if they are going to use this to pls be careful and choose the right one

@777Q perfectly said! the whole process is just very complicated and difficult. and i guess i can’t agree with the $170 fee. if you can let them know ahead of time that something came up, that’s awesome. and i know it’s part of the agreement. but i had an emergency and explained the situation and they still made me pay the $170 for something i didn’t have control over. and the therapy, has made it worse. all i can focus on is how much it’s going to cost. i still have unresolved health insurance, and i paid for most of it! but BOOM, and $150 gone without any warning.

For myself, I have stuff that's going on take up focus from my ERP as well, and I can't seem to take my focus away from the fact that others don't seem to care to listen to my issues and just want them to be fixed and don't want to simply support me by hearing me out

@Anonymous for me honestly that’s how i felt. i liked my therapist at first, but i realized she never really listened to my concerns, and got mad because i said i would need to stop because of payment issues. there are some amazing therapists who genuinely want to help! i hope you have one who wants to hear you, and help you

@grlwithocd ♥︎︎ The things I feel unheard about are my actual obsessions and feelings. I just feel like people don't understand them, and sometimes I feel like I just need to get it off my chest, but whenever I try they always try to fix my situation instead of providing a listening ear. So you don't feel heard about your payment issues? Is it also about other concerns that you don't feel heard?

@Anonymous i actually have insurance too! i looked at the bill and had a remaining balance, and all of a sudden $150 was gone. my balance was wayyy left than that. :(

@Northerngirlpnw yes i do! it’s just an overall mess on my side. when choosing a therapist, you will know if they are right for you! i wish mine was for me. but all they seem to care about is payment :(

@Invalid i agree with you. i’m not saying they don’t deserve any payment. but it’s also hard for us who keep getting money taken out constantly without a reason why
