People with OCD
Everyone I know with mental OCD, like intrusive thoughts; anxiety and panic disorders; repetitive thoughts and fears; scrupulous, religious, spiritual, moralistic obsessions; and real events OCD tend to be the best people! Haha. It reminds me of that scene from Alice in Wonderland when the Mad Hatter asks her if he's gone mad (i.e. crazy)... "Yes, you're mad, bonkers, off the top of your head...but... I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are." There are OCD behaviors that are deeply rooted in shame, mortification, fear and terror, embarrassment, timidity, self-blame, and childhood trauma behaviors, etc. Not all kinds of OCD will automatically mean you can depend entirely on your true self and be true to your values because some values are not all virtuous, but those of us constantly scrutinizing ourselves, I can see us as the Mad Hatters
