I feel so alone like no one understands me at the moment Ive prayed to God and i believe im doing a decent job in maintaining a relationship with him but i feel so hopeless, and alone. The heart ache i feel is immeasurable .
Trust me and trust yourself you are not alone If you were alone this app wouldn't exist
@skuva I get what your saying but its like yeah i get it theres this app we all feel similar things but ocd is so personalized to an individual that it does feel lonely even on this app i just dont have strength to go on.

@Loranqadri I feel bad for feeling the way I do like ive dissapointed God because i cant trust him and sometimes i feel guilty for praying because i feel like i ask for things that everyone else asks for and im just “another one” and theres people who deserve there prayers to be answered more than mine so i feel guilty and unworthy to ask for what i want because i simply believe that i wont get it because to many people pray for the same things and i wouldnt be a special case

@Anonymous You are lucky to have your belief in God I used to be a believer right now I put this matter aside, try to relax and meditate, try to pray in a different way pray slowly while breathing and listening to rain sound. I think that God hears everyone and he is the simple in reality and all things please take care not to let your anxiety over the prayers tire you to the point you leave God because thats kind of what happened to me. In short relax and put the prayers aside God will always be there 🙏🙂
@Loranqadri The reason i belief is because i know that without him I wouldnt be anything and i rather suffer and still believe in him that be ok and empty. I just really wish he could hear me and my cries and doesnt see my prayers as nagging him or that im idolizing what im praying for i just want to feel heard and comforted i really want this prayer to come true but trusting him seems to be harder than just believing in him.
OCD can really mess with your belief, but you can’t “nag” God. He’s so much bigger than that and He wants you to rely on Him. That’s what He’s there for. He’s here with you and wants what’s best for you, and so are we 🩷 It’s gonna be fine

ERP and medication 💊
I was having a tough time with the ERP for a while, but my parents got be started on some Zoloft and it became easier to do ERP. I started off with little things like squirting perfume 3 times (it freaked me out too much before) and then eventually was able to do my level 10 exposure. It took a few really stressful situations to get me there, but after they were over if you keep doing small exposures daily and avoid reassurance, you can heal
I’m not sure the low level exposure even helped tbh, but I still recommend it. It got better with time and tough situations for me
I want you to know I hear you, and even when our brains don’t tell us this, God is hurting for us. He loves us. But I am also struggeling too.

I feel so alone
sometimes I just don’t understand God. I just wanna go up to heaven and yell at him “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?” Just as I wrote that I burst into tears. what does he gain from watching me suffer, this is hard. this is so painful every single day, I guess this is karma for everything I’ve ever done. I want to tell someone, I have a therapist to talk to but honestly she’s dumb to me thinking I have OCD. I obviously know I’m not alone but I feel so...alone.
