i just broke up with my bf. suffering from rocd, i always thought that i dont deserve him and i dont love him but i got to know that it was him who didnt deserve me. he flirted with another girl and called it an act, however when i talked to that girl, she said why were u even flirting if u got a girl in the first place? that time i knew he was sure cheating me. he begged me but i blocked him from everywhere and left him.
SO PROUD OF YOU šš©· Breakups are hard and ROCD definitely makes it harder. What a dick move on his end *especially* if he knew about your ROCD. Itās going to hurt for a while but it wonāt last forever; youāll make it through this. Practice self-care and self-compassion and give yourself some time <3

thank you so much! its really hard for me to move on but somehow i will. due to ocd, i separated myself from everyone and i only had him, now that he's gone, ive got no one to talk to. im really lonely and i need someone to talk and vent to.

Does anyone have any tips for a breakup when you also had/have ROCD? Just found out a few days ago that my partner of 8.5 years was having an affair and he doesn't want to be with me anymore. My heart is completely broken. I had spent the last year healing from ROCD and had genuinely got back to a place where I felt more certain again and back in love but now I have no idea where all of that fits in my life now. He also blames me hurting him as one of the reasons he cheated which is so unfair. I know I hurt him because I did confess all my thoughts to him before I knew what ROCD was, but since learning about it and healing from it I tried so many times to share that it wasn't ever actually about him but he never really understood. He never asked me about this side of my mental health, he just maybe wasn't interested and I'm so angry and upset about that.
my mind keeps saying i was cheating and i just need help. a while ago me and my partner went on a break because i was unsure of my feelings. i saw this guy at lunch that was alone and i thought was cute and i thought i had feelings. me and my friends invited him over and we all became friends. i realized later i didnāt have feelings for him and i did truly have feelings for my partner. i never flirted with this guy, the only thing i ever said was i didnāt have anyone to go to hoco with meaning i wanted to go with everyone in that group- including him. that part makes me feel so gross and like i did something wrong. i canāt tell if what is true because my mind canāt remember- it mixās up the story to think i wanted to go hang out with him at hoco with everyone. did i wanna be with him? i donāt think so because i obvi realized i didnāt have feelings but idk whatās true from the past. what if i did?? me and my partner are together again obvi and i cannot be around him without these thoughts of wanting to āconfessā. iām still friends with that dude and i no longer think he is that cute tbh and i figured out i didnāt have feelings for him. help??
I just recently got into a new relationship. While we were still getting to know each other and before we started dating, I still had different guys adding me on snapchat. I added one guy back, went to open his snap, and it was an inappropriate picture. I immediately unadded him and stopped adding anyone else back. Now that me and my current boyfriend are dating, I feel like I ācheatedā even though I didnāt and did not choose to see that image. My OCD is telling me I donāt deserve to be with him and to break up with him. The guilt is weighing on me and I want it to go away. Will this get better?
