Sleep
Does anyone else get worsen symptoms when you’re tired?
Does anyone else get worsen symptoms when you’re tired?
Yes, lack of sleep affects everything you do.
Always. This is real.
Suggest to not even think about it , when I think that it gets worse in my sleep / in morning etc. I put myself back into ocd cycle rather enjoying my day. Because when night or day comes i will be thinking "this is time when ocd gets worse" and then you think about it. It's in a way a complusion?
@Anonymous I definitely find myself counting
Yes. That’s why our ocd flares up during nights
@Ishil I definitely dislike it but it’s something I’m gonna have to work on for sure
totally get how tough it can be when you're tired and your symptoms flare up. it's like everything feels ten times harder, right? 😓 you should try "unstuck", it's this new ai-powered therapy tool specifically for ocd (just google "unstuck app for ocd"). my nocd therapist recommended it to me, and honestly, it's been a game changer this past month. might help you too.
@TanyaShelby22 Thank you
@Rissa94 - welcome:)
At times, my intrusive thoughts get so intense that all I can do is lay frozen in my bed and hope I fall asleep, and usually I do even if I'm not tired. My brain just wears me out and I wanna escape through sleep. (Sadly it doesn't work all the time)
Does anyone have tips on good sleep hygeine? What does everyone use to relax and wind down before bedtime?
I’ve noticed this new obsession with having to pee right before bed, like even if I have to pee a little I can’t fall asleep until my bladder is completely empty. Anyone else have a problem like this or knows how to cope?
