Sleep
Does anyone else get worsen symptoms when you’re tired?
Does anyone else get worsen symptoms when you’re tired?
Yes, lack of sleep affects everything you do.
Always. This is real.
Suggest to not even think about it , when I think that it gets worse in my sleep / in morning etc. I put myself back into ocd cycle rather enjoying my day. Because when night or day comes i will be thinking "this is time when ocd gets worse" and then you think about it. It's in a way a complusion?
@Anonymous I definitely find myself counting
Yes. That’s why our ocd flares up during nights
@Ishil I definitely dislike it but it’s something I’m gonna have to work on for sure
totally get how tough it can be when you're tired and your symptoms flare up. it's like everything feels ten times harder, right? 😓 you should try "unstuck", it's this new ai-powered therapy tool specifically for ocd (just google "unstuck app for ocd"). my nocd therapist recommended it to me, and honestly, it's been a game changer this past month. might help you too.
@TanyaShelby22 Thank you
@Rissa94 - welcome:)
I think me being really tired triggers my suicidal and harm obsession. Can anyone relate?? I didn’t sleep enough and now I’m anxious
Are nights the worst for anyone else? In the past week I’ve only gotten 3 hours tops of sleep per night (and it’s not even good sleep) because I keep on convincing myself I have a serious Illness of some kind. It makes the day time worse as well because I can’t focus on the things I need to do because my body is tired. I feel like if I just have a good nights sleep things will be better mentally but I can’t. It’s the absolute worst.
does anyone else’s thoughts/compulsions get worse as it gets later in the day?
