No matter where I go, there's always at least one atractive male there, and I get this feeling that seems like atraction, my boddy is tense up, and feel some pain on my face, but my mind says this is a symtopm of represion rather than OCD, also every time I looked at the past to say I wasnt like this, I get memories that I always had this feelings for men, I really can't tell which parts of the memory are real and which ones are fake
I’ve started noticing what would be attractive in a man for women. It is not what I’m into at all but just like you I used to suffer really bad with not knowing. I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do less than even interact with these men.
Makes me feel like I'm repress or something and I don't want to, but I don't wanna be with these guys either

@Nicolas:) The feelings, the anxieties. I guess the thoughts are in your head. Look up some guided meditations. An expert can guide you through observing your thoughts that way. It may seem a little abstract at first but long term it will help.

Pure ocd is a fear disorder where you are afraid you what to do or want something you do not really want.It is just pure ocd you are not really in to men or anything else your ocd thoughts make you worry is secretly true. If it is a thought that you are scared is secretly true or goes against what you believe in it is always pure ocd. The fact that you tense up and feel pain from the stress of the thoughts shows you really do not like man , you will never be gay as you very much really do not like men to the point you have a small panic attack about it. I know pure ocd feels real but it is not , anything you have pure ocd over means you truly are not willing to do no matter what. But pure ocd will make you fear you will or all ready of shown signs of want ever you are afraid of. Stay strong men

@Nicolas:) I go back and see everytime I have looked at a girl and try to decipher what I was thinking at the time and sometimes I get reassurance and sometimes I don’t. I feel like anything I do or say turns into me being in denial. Sometimes I think well you’re just homophobic and in denial other times I think well i go you don’t care and are in denial. Like everything is me being in denial
@takingmylifeback Yeah I get that too, sometimes I feel reassure I'm not atracted other times the feelings get more intense
@Nicolas:) Exactly. Sometimes I think I’m making ocd up on purpose bc I don’t want to accept the fact. This is what kinda brings me the most anxiety but I try to keep reminding myself to just let the thought be there and say “maybe”
@takingmylifeback Yeah but it's really hard, cause it doesnt feel like a maybe, it feels like a fact sometimes
@Nicolas:) You’re not alone! I feel the same way too and honestly it makes you feel like you’re the only one dealing with the thoughts and ppl with ocd don’t think that way. It honestly makes me feel better I’m not the only one having these thoughts. At the end of the day, we are trying to find certainty in something that literally has no answer. I am reading a book called “needing to know for sure” and they explain it pretty well. Like nothing in life is certain except death. There’s always gonna be a possibility that someone might get a very rare disease, or that their spouse is cheating on them and we try to find reassurance but when we do we are calm for a little until another thought that feels a little too real pops up and we think well this must be a thought that deserves my energy. At the end of the day it’s always around the same thing… our sexuality and who we are which makes it so much harder at times. But we got this
@takingmylifeback Yeah it is, sometimes I'm not even sure why Im fighting the thoughs, sometimes I feel like I want to surrender an be gay and that scares me cause I feel like OCD people wouldnt do that
Just tired af... Anyone else feels like everything is a lie all the time and there is no "before the OCD I was boy crazy" just the OCD since forever... or denial because of that aspect? Really struggeling with the physical aspect of SOOCD : looking at a women's body and really feeling something and getting turned on and looking at a man's and not feeling anything... I just dont understand! I asked my friends and many of them said they dont feel anything looking at a man's body as well (they're straight) but also looking at a women's doesnt feel like much. I just dont understand ughhhh
hey guys, i’m almost fully healed in my socd journey but what’s stopping me is the false atractions. i get them almost 24/7 at this point and to every thing. they feel real and i hate them they make me feel disgusted. they also make me feel like hot and gross but then i see people saying thats what attractions feel like, but i have felt so much attraction to the opposite gender pre all of this and it felt nice and enjoyable not digustinf. i’m also getting false memory trying to show me ‘signal’ from my childhood to prove i’m gay amd i truly don’t know if they’re real. it’s so degrading and at this point i feel like govining up. pelesse if you have any advice or even if your going through the same thing just let me know. ocd is so terrible
Can anyone give their experience on FALSE ATTRACTION? At this moment, mine has become worse. Soon as I see a male my anxiety shoots up, I can feel this in my chest and my OCD is telling me I’m attracted. But I continue to look back or stare and the disgust comes over me and my body shakes and I feel my face screw up. I can’t listen to music I use too or watch movies which was a favourite thing of mine to do. I just feel disgusted and not who I am when it happens. It’s like a different me. P.S. I had a very good week few days ago where I knew this wasn’t me and these feelings/ thoughts isn’t me.
