I kept saying .5 percent instead of .05 percent. I was thinking it was the same thing ( I know I’m stupid) now I feel like a complete total idiot. I was saying this percentage for possibility vs probability for my so-ocd on how probable it is for me to end up with a woman and I kept saying .5 instead of .05 😭😭

@Ilovemyhusband0322. Oh I see!! I was a little confused. No I think that’s accurate because we think so much about those thoughts that we know a concrete answer. I just hated how I got my decimal percentages mixed up
@Ilovemyhusband0322. Right!!! OCD just makes us ruminate over it and makes us feel like we are in danger. I’m confident in my sexuality but I never questioned myself until this happened and even tho I’m confident and comfortable in who I am sexually this ocd sucks
@Ilovemyhusband0322. Exactly!! My mom told me this and I’ve never forgotten it. She told me why would cry over something if it was something you wanted. You wouldn’t every time I remember that it brings me back. Because the thought makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry. I just can’t wait for the day I find the right guy and hopefully he understands all my ocd problems
@Ilovemyhusband0322. Right!! All it took me was trying to march with a woman on tinder and it felt like pulling teeth unmediated. I said never again. I’ve set my boundary lines now
@Anonymous You have to sit with the uncertainty of this thoughts. Learn to let the thoughts be thoughts and that’s easier said than done.
@Anonymous You can talk to the ocd loudly but just remember when a thought gives you anxiety it is something you don’t like. So just try and let the thoughts pass
@Ilovemyhusband0322. I think people with hocd getting arousal is normal. We are human beings when we are with our partners like for me and you when we are with our boyfriends/ husband we get excited/ aroused. We also have to keep in mind false arousal or groinals.

@Ilovemyhusband0322. Hmmm. I think that’s true to an extent. To me watching same sex content doesn’t phase me and would get me excited but our bodies when we hear sex going on will begin to react. It depends on what your thinking during that moment
@Ilovemyhusband0322. Oh I don’t think that true at all. I’ve watched plenty of lesbian porn and have gotten excited and taken care of myself. But I don’t sit there and think “ oh I want to do that with a woman”

If you’re having thoughts like “ I would be down to do something like that” or something around those lines then you would have to do some figuring out. So what I was saying was what your thinking during that matters. That’s just my opinion

i need some advice!! when i was 16, i was watching an anime and this character had abs and he was 12. i remember at the time (from what i can remember), i made a weird comment on his physique. saying things like “omg how did he become this buff haha.” and “oh im going to jail.” i even said “it’s only a 4 year difference.” like WHAT?!? just because it’s a 4 year difference, doesn’t make it okay. its WEIRD!! why would i say that? i also want to mention that i have a hard time keeping my thoughts to myself bc of my ADHD, so i tend to blurt things out. i just find it disturbing that i would have such thoughts, let alone say it out loud. i never had attraction to kids bc its immorally wrong and disgusting, but i feel no different from the ppl who would hurt children irl. I’ve tried forgive myself multiple times, but what i did is irredeemable. i feel like i am using my OCD as an excuse. i am so scared that i am a p, i want to d1e. my life is ruined.
Tmi warning I was being intimate with my bf and I kept getting the name of someone else pop up, but I didn’t feel anxious. Afterwards, as much as I tried to delay confessing, I couldn’t help it. I confessed. My bf was fine he said I probably didn’t feel anxious because I’ve gotten used to the anxiety and it’s okay, it doesn’t define me any more than it would if I was anxious. A few minutes later, he got upset and said that the confession kinda ruined a blissful moment. I’m so upset that my head feels so turbulent I didn’t even notice it was a blissful moment for him and could’ve been for me. I feel so awful. I haven’t slept in a day, I can’t stop crying. My bf is afraid that because this specific name keeps popping up, it might mean something and he feels less than sometimes because of it. I know I shouldn’t have confessed but I felt so safe that it was like a dam broke loose. I feel so awful. What’s worse is that I’m still scared it means something, I’m scared that my boyfriend’s fear is right. He’s very understanding of OCD and how it manifests in me and everything, I think I just kinda messed up a sacred moment and I feel so much guilt and confusion and just horrendous. I’m not even fully anxious. I don’t know what to do. I apologized a lot but I feel like I don’t deserve him and so selfish
Basically when I was drunk I was flirting with this guy I usual flirt with he was telling me that nothing could happen because he’s friends with my cousin, so I got really close to him and said oh resllr so you don’t want me, and I can’t remember what he said but I then kissed his like cheek or near his ear to like flirt with him and I’ve convinced myself because he said he couldn’t that basically I’ve harassed him. I left him alone after we’d finished talking but I’m so worried that me sorta going are you sure to him because he kept saying “maybe one day but right now I can’t” and saying “it’s not that I don’t want to” But I’m really scared that I’ve done something wrong. I keep picturing me kissing his cheek and him going like ugh fuck off when I don’t think that happened? I just have the worst anxiety around it right now
